Apple managed to attract attention once again in the smartphone market last year by introducing the iPhone 15 series. Now, all eyes are on the iPhone 16 series. There have been many leaks about the new models so far. Most recently, the battery capacities have been revealed.
Battery capacities of iPhone 16 models leaked!
New iPhone models released every year generally continue to offer long-term usage without a significant increase in battery capacity. According to the latest leak, the iPhone 16 series will also follow this tradition and will not offer a significant increase in battery capacity. However, this won’t be the case for one model in the series.
According to recent information, the iPhone 16 will draw power from a 3,561 mAh battery. This value was 3,349 mAh in the iPhone 15. Therefore, we can say that there will be a 6% increase in capacity.
The battery in the iPhone 16 Plus, on the other hand, will be 4,006 mAh. This value was 4,383 mAh in the iPhone 15 Plus model. Therefore, it is possible to say that it will decrease by 8%. Meanwhile, the iPhone 16 Pro and 16 Pro Max models will draw power from batteries with capacities of 3,355 mAh and 4,676 mAh, respectively. The iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max had capacities of 3,274 mAh and 4,442 mAh, respectively. Therefore, there will be an increase of 2% and 5%, respectively.
